A relatively old scam technique has been to use trading bots which shall supposedly make money for you even when you are sleeping and are allegedly advanced enough to do all of the trading for you. Once again, there is much more than meets the eye here as these bots and programs are not always tested nor is there usually any kind of submission for formal review through which such ‘robots’ would be allowed to function on behalf of the traders.
